Just look at what these shooters themselves say. They post memes but they rarely talk about racial superiority. When they are racist they're usually doing the meme of "the racist community doesn't care what you are as long as you are racist". They believe in egoist superiority

Okay to Peter Langman's credit he does acknowledge this even if he doesn't delve into it as much as I would prefer. This is why I do find his works highly useful as I do find them to be largely objective. The weakness is that he doesn't engage in cultural analysis, in my opinion

I now apply a critical lens due to Langman's background and narrow focus. Reading the writings of shooters, their interests in Hitler or Satan are superficial. Their key value is that it's transgressive, hence why we now have trans shooters as it's transgression as identity

Shooters often do not have specific targets in mind, much less bullies they're "getting back at". Specific targets when they exist are usually school personnel or girls and women. The full reasons they commit shootings are usually personal and complex but tied to some vengeance
