A lot of people think I invent every action idea myself. That’s a flattering version. Reality is simpler 🌚 Very often models don’t exactly arrive with a finished script, but with a particular want. This is still the friends’ yacht. Still Montenegro. Still not a studio. And this is only mid-July. I came back to Belgrade from Montenegro in the middle of August — so there’s still a pile of photos ahead from some very interesting locations. Model — D.Chaos essence

Saranda. The studio is beautiful — that’s it in the photo. The town and the host are another story. 🙃 Booking: “parking available.” In reality — no. Just a suggestion to leave the car “somewhere on the street.” In summer Saranda that’s a half-day quest: crowds, chaos, parking as a myth. 🚗💨 We specifically booked a place with parking. Naive. 🤡 Rocky beach — always a minus for me. 🪨 Tourists in herds. Almost no sidewalks — you walk in the road with the cars. Charming. ✨ When I was simply driving out, the host decided to “help.” Classic male Albanian patriarchy: a woman at the wheel must crash without his commands. He stood in the worst possible spot, I didn’t obey — suddenly I “can’t drive.” And he got offended. 😌 Cherry on top: he blamed us for a chair that was already broken. Simple logic: chair in the studio + woman behind the wheel = guests are guilty. 🍒 By the way, the one

First — the history of the creation of the world shibari. Shibari? Or kinbaku? And which is right? Osada Steve — with whom I spent several days in Tokyo in 2015, shooting, talking, learning — said it simply: “Beautiful stage ties are shibari. Kinbaku begins when the rope touches more than the body.” Then — first knots and simple ties. At the end the room goes still: a live action by the master and the model. People rarely come to shibari to admire the knots. If that were the point, a scarf, a mirror, and a little self-admiration would cover it. More often they are the ones who spend the week running everyone, answering everything, and wearing the face that says “I’m fine.” Here you can spend an hour or more — deciding nothing. The world, the shopping list, and that one awkward email can wait politely outside. What comes through then is not a performance, and not the kind of feeling that leaves everyone picking up pieces later. Something warm and alive. If you catch that, the rope is just rope again. What remains is what suddenly becomes audible between two people. That, more or less, is why you unwind it.Chaos essence

Vukoјebina — that’s what Serbian call a place that barely exists on maps. Literally: even the wolves only go there to fuck🙈 Apparently wolves have standards too. Some people get a studio, lights, a backdrop and tea between takes. We get knee-deep swamp, mosquitoes in the leading role, and a forest that definitely did not sign a release. Yeah. Model: D Same place. Different story. Just beyond the gates — Herceg Novi in high season. Crowds, noise, the whole tourist town in full swing. And here, a few steps away, an empty pool that had already forgotten people. Cracked blue tiles. Wild grass.As if the garden let us in one more time. Just long enough to leave something behind.This is the last series from that world. After this, the gates closed again.
