During our days in Madinah, the brothers were able to visit the Islamic University of Madinah, where they were given a tour of the different faculties across the campus and the university masjid. They stopped by the Islamic bookstore, taking the opportunity to pick up some beneficial books and add to their libraries, alhamdulillaah.Our sisters enjoyed some time out together, visiting the abaya souqs and spending time with one another. They experienced Shaari‘ Quba, travelling along the route on the buggies; and enjoyed the atmosphere of Madinah together in the new Global Food Village.Alhamdulillaah, it was another enjoyable and beneficial day for the group. May Allaah make these experiences a source of lasting benefit for us all.

Alhamdulillaah, during our time in Madinah we made our way to Masjid Quba, where we were able to catch ‘Ishaa prayer together.The Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم said:“Whoever purifies himself in his house, then comes to Masjid Quba and prays in it, will have a reward like that of ‘Umrah.” (Musnad Ahmad)After the prayer, we spent some time at Maqsad Quba, a nice opportunity for the group to sit together, relax and learn a little more about some of the developments taking place around this historic part of Madinah.We were given an insight into the wider project around Quba and the efforts being made to make the area more welcoming and accessible for families and visitors. From Quba there is now a walkable route stretching around three kilometres towards al-Masjid an-Nabawi, alongside dedicated spaces for walking, transport, cafés and places for families to spend time together.Our broSalafi Centre of Manchester
