The final visit of some students of the esteemed scholar Shaykh Yahya Al-Hajoori to the noble father and scholar Shaykh Rabee‘ Al-Madkhali (may Allāh have mercy on him and pardon him)This visit took place on Friday, the 21st of Rabi‘ Al-Awwal, 1445 AH.During the visit, Shaykh Rabee‘ said to them: "Convey to him (Shaykh Yahya): Shaykh Rabee‘ loves you for the sake of Allāh and continues to do so."He also said: "Give him my greetings of peace. A Believer’s Contentment: The Key to a Good Life 🔑Shaykh Ibn ʿUthaymīn (رحمه الله) said:“You will not find anyone with more peace of mind, more openness of heart, or more tranquility in his heart than a believer, ever. Even if he is poor, the believer is the most content, the most at peace, and the most expansive in heart.”‘Whoever does righteous deeds, whether male or female, while being a believer – We will surely grant them a good life, and We will surely reward them according to the best of what they used to do.’ (Surah al-Naḥl, 97)“So what is the good life?” The answer: The good life is openness of the chest and tranquility of the heart. Seize the Opportunity Tonight 🌙: The 27th Night, the Night Ubayy ibn Ka’b Swore by Allah is Laylat al-Qadr:Shaykh Muḥammad ibn Ṣāliḥ al-ʿUthaymīn (رحمه الله) was asked:"Some of the Muslims have taken the 27th night of Ramaḍān as Laylat al-Qadr. Is there any basis for this specification?"The Shaykh (رحمه الله) stated the following:Yes, there is a basis for this specification. The Reality of Marrying a Student of Knowledge“Some aspire to marry a student of knowledge, thinking that it will be the best time of their life. The reality is that being married to a student requires much patience and sacrifice.Here is an example related to the life of our Sheikh Muhammad Ali Adam al-Ethiopi, رحمه الله تعالى (with some personal additions).The Shaykh, غفر الله له, would spend his mornings teaching at an Islamic institution in Makkah known as ‘Dar al-Hadith’. After reaching home, he was known to take the mid-day nap after Dhuhr.He would pray Asr in our local masjid, then go home to work on his books.
