… Now let’s bring this little rant back to the OSAS discussion…If I lived a perfect sinless life from birth to death, and yet still could not receive eternal life, then what would be the one thing I would be missing?It’s obviously faith in Jesus alone for eternal life, because Scripture still presents eternal life as being found in Jesus alone, and never in our own righteousness. Without faith, none of those great works of leading a perfect sinless life even matter. “RECALCULATING ROUTE”...I was driving around using Google Maps to get me somewhere, and I ended up missing my turn on accident. But this sparked a memory of a sermon I heard a long time ago about our walk with Jesus and how at times, it can be kind of similar to the very GPS app I was using right then...When you're driving somewhere and you miss the turn, the GPS doesn't suddenly say, "That's it. You're done. You've lost your destination".But instead, it simply says, "Recalculating route..."You may have added time to your trip, or maybe you'll now have to deal with traffic that could have been avoided, and perhaps you may have to make a few extra turns because you had to reroute... The other day I asked Youtube's Gemini feature to critique Part 2 of the Little Season Time Indicator series, and its conclusion was fascinating to me. PROVERBS 3:5-6I want to focus your attention to the part that says to acknowledge the Lord in all your ways; now, notice how it doesn't say acknowledge Him in some of your ways.
