This is a pattern we are seeing on the weekly chart. In most cases, we see around 8–9 consecutive weekly bars moving in one direction. If I compare the data since 2008, the major exception was the 2008–2015 period. Keeping that in mind, we can still hope to see some relief, despite the ongoing US tariff-related news. The tariff issue was already known to the market before Friday's closing as well. The US House had passed the sanctions/tariff bill, which could allow tariffs of up to 100% on goods from major buyers of Russian energy, including India.
