The Muʾadhdhin of Masjid al-Ḥarām, Shaykh ʾIbrāhīm Al-Madanī, passed away in the early hours of Monday 11th Rabīʿ ath-Thānī [21st of September].Shaykh ʾIbrāhīm Al-Madanī was born in Madīnah in 1397 AH, where he began his journey to become a Muʾadhdhin at the age of 15. He was formally appointed to perform the ʾAdhān in the Holy Masjid in 1439 AH. He performed his final ʾAdhān over a month ago.His funeral prayer was held after Asr ṣalāḥ at the Masjid al-Ḥarām.

🚨Houston Texans linebacker Azeez Al-Shaair has been fined $11,492 by the NFL after wearing eye black inscribed with the name “Hind Rajab”, honouring the five-year-old Palestinian girl murdered by occupation forces in Gaza in January 2024.Hind was trapped inside a car after Isreli forces opened fire on the vehicle. Investigations have documented more than 355 rounds fired at the car, which was found riddled with bullet holes.This is not the first time Al-Shaair has been fined for speaking out. Earier this year in January, the NFL fined him $11,593 after he wore “Stop the Genocide” on his eye black during a playoff game.
