⚡️Hungary has stated that it has resolved its dispute with Ukraine over the "Carpathian Eight" and may join the initiative.Hungarian Foreign Minister Anita Orbán said in an interview with Index that she met several times with her Ukrainian counterpart Andrii Sybiha on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly. According to her, they discussed and resolved the misunderstanding around the C8.She does not rule out that Hungary may later join the initiative, but first wants to hold additional negotiations and prepare everything. Orbán says Budapest is ready to participate in regional or bilateral cooperation if it serves the country's interests.However, storing Ukrainian fuel and petroleum products in Hungary is not planned under the current government. Five residents were killed in Russian attacks on Kyiv today. "We survived because we held on to each other": 21 Ukrainians have been returned from occupation.Among them are three families from the Kherson region. Before the occupation, they were neighbors, and over these years they became essentially one family: enduring shelling together, dealing with power outages, sharing food, and supporting each other.Due to health conditions, two of their relatives remained in occupation for now. Ukraine's largest metallurgical enterprise, ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih, is ceasing operations following Russian attacks.In the company's official statement, it is noted that over the past five weeks, the Russians have struck the facility with missiles four times. 🇱🇻Stolen Ukrainian grain may be transported through Latvia disguised as Russian — Riga is urgently tightening controls.On September 24, Latvia's Saeima adopted new rules for controlling cargo from third countries. Authorities will be able to take samples for analysis to verify the origin of products.The reason was information about Ukrainian grain that Russia illegally exports from occupied territories. Latvia fears it could be documented as Russian and transported through Latvian ports.The check may take up to a month, as Latvia may need cooperation with other countries, Delfi reports. At the same time, cargo cannot be detained at the port merely because of the check itself. If it turns out that it may be stolen Ukrainian grain, Latvia will immediately notify buyers.Latvia previously banned the import of Russian and Belarusian agricultural products, but transit through the country and the EU remained possible. Another large oil refinery in Russia has halted operations following a drone attack — the Novoshakhtinsk Oil Refinery in the Rostov region temporarily suspended work after the overnight attack, Reuters reports.The refinery processes approximately 7.5 million tons of oil per year — nearly 100,000 barrels per day.
