Elder or Elderberry is an indigenous shrub growing in all parts of the United States and Canada, in low, damp grounds, thickets and waste places. They grow from 5 to 20 ft high blooming in June and July, with star-shaped fragrant flowers 1/4 inch across, grouped in flat flower clusters about 8 in across. Purple blackberries containing three or four round seeds, maturing in September and October. The fruit is often made into jellies, pies, and wine. The branching stems are covered with a rough, pitted gray bark; large central stems are smooth. The odor is faintly sweet, aromatic; taste slightly bitter. Apple season - careful with that wax!Warm water and borax solution soakTop one was taken out and scrubbed and the wax was softened but the whole apple became sticky, so there was still some remaining so put er back inCheck out the difference between the scrubbed and unscrubbed. blech.I'd really like to know if our hyperborean mineral friend, borax, dissolves apeel and glyphosate.𝕬𝖗𝖐𝖍𝖆𝖒 𝕱𝖆𝖗𝖒𝖘

Pasta all’Ubriaco is perfect if you want to try one of Italy’s most underrated pasta techniques.Ingredients (serves 2) • 200 g pasta (author used spaghetti) • ½ bottle red wine • 2–3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil • 1–2 tsp chili flakes • 2–3 knobs unsalted butter • Salt (if needed) • Optional: splash of beef broth for extra depthMethod1. In a wide pan, add olive oil, garlic and chili flakes over medium heat until fragrant. 2. Pour in the red wine and bring it to a gentle simmer. 3. Add your dry pasta directly into the wine, letting it slowly soften and absorb all that flavour. 4. Keep stirring, adding a splash more wine—or beef broth if needed—until the pasta is perfectly al dente. 5. Once the wine reduces and coats every strand with that deep ruby colour, finish with cold knobs of butter. 6. Toss aggressively until glossy, silky, and creamy.Smart Gardening Ideas
