U.S. is Preparing Full-Scale Invasion Of CubaThe United States Army Reserve is assessing whether it can provide military police, medical personnel, engineers and logistics units to the Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) within the next four months as Washington continues planning for possible military action involving Cuba, CBS News reported on September 25.An internal Army message reviewed by CBS News does not mention Cuba, but multiple U.S. officials told the network that the request is part of continuing military planning focused on the island.The document asks subordinate commands to determine whether six types of formations could be available to Southern Command, with some units “possibly [being] needed in 90-120 days.” The deadline for responses was September 25.The formations under consideration include a combat sustainment support battalion responsible for transportation, maintenance, fuel and supplies, an engineer battalion and an expeditionary sustainment command.Read more HERE

Russia’s New Yak-130M Is Equipped to Hunt Down DronesRussia’s upgraded Yak-130M combat trainer jet can detect and engage slow-moving targets, including attack drones, during both daytime and nighttime operations, state defense conglomerate Rostec said on September 22.The Yak-130M is a modernized version of the Yak-130 with an expanded weapons and sensor suite. Russian Army Lucks Up Ukrainian Forces in Dobropillya (Videos)The Russian military has encircled Ukrainian positions in Dobropillya in the Donetsk region, Russia’s Defense Ministry announced on September 22, confirming a new advance around the strategically important city.In a statement, the ministry said units of Russia’s Central Grouping of Forces had completed the encirclement and were advancing toward the nearby settlement of Oleksandrivka.
