Only Lice Were Gasified At AuschwitzLouis Darquier served as the Commissar for Jewish Affairs in the Vichy government (in France) and was directly involved in the deportation of Jews to the Auschwitz concentration camps. Once France was occupied by the Allies, he fled to Spain and was granted asylum there.Fortunately, Darquier did not have to meet with communist interrogation specialists, so he did not have to confess to the "gassing of Jews", and in 1978, in an interview with a French journalist, he denied the facts of murder in the gas chambers of Auschwitz:"This number (six million) is a fabrication — a pure and simple fabrication of the Jews, of course. «The Cross of Honor of the German Mother»This award was given to white mothers who had eight or more children. In the Third Reich, motherhood was a respected and noble cause. This award came in three grades:• bronze (4-5 children) • silver (6-7 children) • gold (8 or more)But the cross of honor was more than just an empty gesture. The famous newspaper Völkischer Beobachter (People's Observer) declared in 1938:«The holder of the Cross of Honor of the Mother will enjoy all kinds of privileges that we are accustomed by nature to provide to our honored comrades of the nation and our wounded war veterans». The SS Camp Administration chief issued a directive on December 28, 1942, to Auschwitz and other concentration camps. It sharply criticized the high death rate of prisoners due to disease and ordered that "camp doctors must use all means at their disposal to reduce the death rate in the camps".Furthermore, the directive stipulated that:Camp doctors should check the prisoners' nutrition more frequently than was the case in the past and, together with the administration, submit recommendations to the camp commandants... By orders of the Führer, the leaders of a threefold opposition: the reactionary monarchists, the «Catholic action» group and the left wing SA troops were to be liquidated. Ernst Röhm was accused of plotting Adolf Hitler's overthrow and indulging in immoral orgies.Ernst Röhm was found in bed with a young male by one of Himmler's spies. Russians in SSYou probably haven't heard much about Sergei Protopopov, but he is a man with a very interesting fate.The grandson of the last Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Empire, Alexander Protopopov, who was shot by the Bolsheviks in October 1918, Sergei was born in France.In 1943, at the age of twenty, like many other Russians, he joined the French Anti-Bolshevik Legion and was trained at its military school in Montargis near Orleans. In September 1944, the French Anti-Bolshevik Legion was incorporated into the SS, first as a brigade, and from February 1945 - a division called "Charlemagne".
