Saudi Arabia restarted oil pipeline bypassing Strait of HormuzRiyadh resumed operations of the East-West pipeline, which was halted on September 13 following drone attacks. Shipments from the Red Sea port of Yanbu may resume today, with the first tanker planned for China.The route currently operates at low capacity, but Saudi Aramco intends to increase throughput to 4 million barrels per day. Over the last 12 hours, two US and Israeli drones were reportedly shot down by Iranian air defences over the Strait of Hormuz.Iranian Army air defences shot down an Israeli "Orbiter" drone over the Strait of Hormuz, with the debris falling in a coastal area of southeastern Iran.The IRGC claims that a couple of hours ago, a U.S. MQ-1C drone was shot down, although this hasn't been visually confirmed.

The IAEA announced that there have been numerous (presumably Ukrainian) drone and other strikes on the vicinity of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant in the Russian-controlled city of Enerhodar in recent weeks, causing several casualties and "potentially threatening nuclear safety".Drone strikes targeted the plant's off-site training centre, diesel fuel transports for it's emergency generators, as well as locations in Enerhodar where plant staff live.

Ukrainian long-range drones are attacking the Novokuibyshevsk Oil Refinery in Samara Oblast, where a large fire has broken out following impacts.The Novokuibyshevsk Refinery previously temporarily halted operations on June 10 due to extensive damage from Ukrainian attacks, and it is not known to have resumed operations since.
