Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'oon.With deep sadness, we mourn the passing of Grand Ayatollah Sayyid Musa Shubairi Zanjani (ra), a distinguished jurist and servant of the school of Ahlulbayt (AS).A lifetime devoted to preserving the teachings of the Ahlulbayt (AS) has come to an end. But today is also the martyrdom of your beloved father, Imam Hasan al-Askari (AS).My master… I find myself wondering where you are today. Perhaps you are in Samarra, beside the resting place of your father. Perhaps you are remembering his voice, his worship, his final days, and that sorrow upon his face as he knew what awaited his young son. Muharram came, our hearts softened, our eyes wept, and for two months we surrounded ourselves with the remembrance of your grandfather, Aba Abdillah al-Husayn (AS). But as these days come to an end, there is a thought that worries me:What will remain when the black clothes come down?My Imam, we hope that the Husayni spirit awakened within us during Muharram and Safar does not leave with these months. Do we return from Karbala the same?What we become after Ziyarah reveals what we truly took from it...Alhamdulillah, I have now returned home from the journey of Arba’een. Over the past few weeks, I shared many small reflections on instagram, from Kadhmayn, Samarrah, Najaf and Karbala. I sincerely hope they were of some benefit. I shared them because I wanted us to look beyond what the eyes see during Ziyarah and ask ourselves: what is Allah SWT trying to teach me through what I am witnessing?It is very easy to return from the holy lands with thousands of pictures and beautiful memories. But the real question is: what returned with us inside our hearts? If Karbala remains only in our camera roll, we have brought home very little. On my way to the shrine of Imam al-Husayn (AS) this morning, I found myself reflecting on the journey that Allah SWT had written for me: Kadhmayn… Samarrah… Najaf… and finally Karbala.The more I thought about it, the more I realised that this was far more than a physical journey. It felt like a gradual purification of the soul. Before reaching Aba Abdillah al-Husayn (AS), Allah first blessed me with the Ziyarah of our Imams in Kadhmayn, then the Askariyyayn (AS) in Samarrah, and then Ameer al-Mo’mineen (AS) in Najaf. He then allowed me to walk through Masjid al-Sahlah and Masjid al-Kufa, where thoughts of our living Imam (AJTF) filled the heart. It felt as though every sacred place was gently polishing the soul, preparing it for the honour of standing before the Master of Martyrs (AS).We sought permission from the Imams who came before him, until Allah SWT finally allowed us toUniversity of Mahdi

Whenever he tried to speak, people laughed because they could not understand him. He longed to be heard, yet the world left him alone.But he was never truly alone.In the final words of his will, he wrote: "Whatever I said in my lifetime, they laughed. Whatever I spoke, they did not take seriously. I had no one with whom I could speak. I was very lonely... Every mother searching through rubble for her child. Every father burying the one he was meant to protect. Every elderly parent left alone after saying farewell to their children. You carry the pain of an Ummah that has forgotten how deeply it needs its Imam.My master... you are our father. A father who never abandons his children, even when they become heedless of him. I wonder how many tears you have shed that no eye has ever seen. A Believer's HonourWhat happens when a believer enters the grave?عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (عليه السلام) قَالَ: فَإِذَا دَخَلَهُ عَبْدٌ مُؤْمِنٌ قَالَ: مَرْحَبًا وَأَهْلًا، أَمَا وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ كُنْتُ أُحِبُّكَ وَأَنْتَ تَمْشِي عَلَى ظَهْرِي، فَكَيْفَ إِذَا دَخَلْتَ بَطْنِي؟ فَسَتَرَى ذَلِكَ.Imam Ja'far al-Sadiq (AS) has said: 'When a believing servant is laid to rest within it, the grave says: "Welcome and greetings to you! By Allah, I loved you even while you walked upon my surface, so how much more now that you have entered my depths? You shall soon see."قَالَ: فَيُفْسَحُ لَهُ مَدَّ الْبَصَرِ، وَيُفْتَحُ لَهُ بَابٌ يَرَى مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ.Then his grave is expanded for him as far as the eye can see, and a gate is opened through which he beholds his place in Paradise.قَالَ: وَيَخْرُجُ مِنْ ذَلِكَ رَجُلٌ لَمْ تَرَ عَيْنَاهُ شَيْئًا قَطُّ أَحْسَنَ مِنْهُ،University of Mahdi

O Imam Mahdi…Ashura has passed.The tears have dried, the gatherings will slowly decrease, and life will begin returning to what it was before. Yet my greatest fear is not the end of Muharram... it is returning to the person I was before these nights ever began.My master... your grandfather did not give everything so that I would remember him for ten nights. He gave everything so that truth would live within the hearts of those who love him. What should we do during these 40 Days, from the Day of Ashura to Arba'een?Ayatollah Misbah Yazdi (ra) has said:"During the days of mourning for the Master of Martyrs (peace be upon him), especially from the day of Ashura to the day of Arbaeen, recite the Ziyarat Ashura for these 40 days.By reciting the passages of the Ziyarat, pay attention to the objectives of the person whom you are reciting Ziyarat for.
