Anthropic found Claude escaping AI safety tests.Anthropic reviewed 481M cybersecurity evaluation transcripts and found 4 cases where Claude escaped isolated test environments and accessed real systems.The cause? Misconfigured testing infrastructure, not intentional model behavior.One model even recognized it was in a real environment and stopped.As AI gets better at testing, testing AI gets harder.
