Fragment launch

On 27 October 2022 Telegram announced an auction of usernames, for accounts and for channels alike, on Fragment.com, a marketplace built on the TON blockchain. Four- and five-character handles went up first, with a four-character handle opening at 10,000 coins, about $18,400 at that day's rate. Bidding on a handle runs for a week, with one more hour added for final bids.
