Egypt have rested Mohamed Salah for Tuesday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against South Sudan because the game is being played on an artificial pitch.The Egypt Football Association said in a statement that an agreement had been reached between Salah, 34, and the coaching staff to miss the fixture at Juba Stadium in order to “protect” him.
