Non-merge commits from Telegram's open repositories, each commit counted once even if two repositories carry it. Third-party histories merged in whole (HockeySDK, AsyncDisplayKit, Lottie, Samsung's rlottie) are left out, and forks of other projects (quickjs, MicroTeX, Sparkle) count only the Telegram team's commits. Releases are repository tags. Lines are added plus removed, without binary files, third-party code, lock files and translations; a commit counts for at most 5,000 lines (imports and generated code). Unavailable now: overtake/TelegramSwift — which is why macOS history before October 2026 is empty.
