Frequently asked questions

What is Gram Wallet?
A non-custodial wallet built into the Telegram apps: the keys stay with the user, not the platform. Pavel Durov announced it on 21 July 2026, it opened to a select group of users on 31 August, and it is being rolled out to everyone gradually.
Which addresses are counted here?
Every Gram Wallet in Telegram runs on the same smart contract. A wallet is counted once it first receives or sends a transfer — TON, a jetton or an NFT. Addresses where the contract was deployed but no transfer ever happened are not counted — there are more than 20,000 of them on the network. Wallets of other apps, including regular TON wallets, are not included.
What are gasless sends?
Sends whose network fee is paid by Telegram rather than the wallet owner: the signed transfer goes to the network through the platform's service, and the fee is not taken from the sender's balance.
Which operations are in the chart?
Sends — every outgoing transfer: TON, jettons, NFTs and other (swaps, contract calls). Incoming — TON, jettons and NFTs received. Network service messages, such as the change returned after a jetton transfer, are not counted.
How often are the numbers updated?
Every minute. Days and hours are in UTC; the figures for the current day keep growing until midnight UTC.
