The Virtue of Reciting Surah al-Mulk Every NightThe Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:“Indeed, a surah from the Qur’an consisting of thirty verses interceded for a man until he was forgiven, and it is: تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ [i.e. Surah al-Mulk].”📔[Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, and Ibn Majah. And al-Tirmidhi said: This is a hasan (good) hadith, and it was authenticated by al-Albani]On the authority of Abdullah ibn Masʿud, he said:“Whoever recites تَبَارَكَ الَّذِي بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ [i.e. Surah al-Mulk] every night, Allah will protect him by it from the punishment of the grave. And during the time of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, we used to call it al-Maniʿah (the Preventer). And indeed, it is in the Book of Allah: a surah — whoever recites it every night, then he has done much and done well.”📔[Narrated by al-Nasa’i, and it was declared hasan (good) by al-Albani]

Islām v/s Interest bearing loans/Debts/Credit Cards/EMI’sTaking a loan is not inherently haram in Islam. Borrowing money itself is permissible, and an interest-free loan (qard hasan) is a recognised and permissible form of lending. The fundamental issue arises when ribā (interest/usurious increase) is stipulated in the loan contract.In a conventional interest-bearing loan, the borrower is required to repay more than the amount borrowed because of the loan or the passage of time. It is this stipulated increase that makes the loan a ribā-based transaction and therefore the entire transaction becomes impermissible due to the involvement of ribā.Allah ﷻ says: “Allah has permitted trade and has forbidden ribā.”—(Qur’an 2:275).The prohibition of ribā is extremely serious in Islām.Allah ﷻ commands believers to give up what remains of ribā and warns of “a war from Allah and Hishaqqahreminders

Observing Your Wife’s Beautiful MannersThe Noble Scholar Ibn Sa’adi رحمه الله said:“When a husband reflects over his wife’s beautiful manners and good qualities that he loves about her, and then compares these qualities to those reasons which causes him anger and irritation, perhaps there is some negativity he sees whilst living with her, but it could be that he is focussing on just one or two [negative] things, yet, in reality, those qualities that he loves in her are much greater.Therefore, if the husband was just, then he would overlook her bad points which actually disappear and vanish due to her goodness. In this way companionship continues.As for turning away from good qualities, and only observing shortcomings – even if they are very few – then this is from being unjust, and the husband can hardly be settled with his wife.”—[Bahjat Al-Qaloob, (Page: 153-154)]haqqahreminders

If something is written for you, it will reach you at the right time. But that doesn't mean you sit back and wait for it to happen.You still have to make the effort. You still have to take the means. You still have to work for what you want.If you ask Allah for a cake, you might suddenly find yourself with flour, sugar, eggs, and milk. But you still have to get up, mix the ingredients, and bake it. That is how you understand qadr. You trust Allah with the outcome, but you don't abandon the effort.Allah has already written your provision, but He has also commanded you to strive and take the means. وَأَن لَّيْسَ لِلْإِنسَانِ إِلَّا مَا سَعَىٰ ﴾“And that there is not for man except that for which he strives.”—[سورة النجم، الآية ٣٩]So make duʿā.
