🛰 Mission Day Darmstadt & NL-1331DIngress Mission Day "City of Science" in Darmstadt, Germany is in the books, and it was a huge success! 263 agents joined from Germany, France, Poland, Norway, Austria, Switzerland, the Netherlands and Belgium to explore Darmstadt's role as the "European Houston", home of ESA's space operations, tying in perfectly with Ingress's ongoing Apollo theme.Between great weather, a full day of missions, city sightseeing, and an evening wind-down at the market square, Agents were able to spend a great day (or weekend!) of Ingress with friends from both Factions!A big thank you goes to organizers MTBJo (RES) and AgentOrome (ENL) who compiled this SITREP for you all to read and shared it with us.@IUENG

Niantic announced a bounty rotation for Second Sunday events!Starting on October 11th, the "Scout Control 5 all-time unique Portals" bounty will be retired from the Second Sunday Campaign in favour of a new "Capture 1,000 MU" bounty.Rules of the event remain the same: complete one bounty in the campaign to obtain a point on your Second Sunday badge.Source: https://ingress.com/news/2026-i2supdate@IUENG

Agents on Android are reporting some issues with C.O.R.E. not being renewed on time today, possibly due to an issue on the side of Google.If you subscribed to C.O.R.E. right when it was released, your subscription should have been renewed in the last few hours. However, even though Google Play is billing for the new month, their systems have not been sending the actual purchase confirmation to the Scanner instantly. Because of this, the Scanner may show that you have lost your subscription benefits.There is currently no confirmed way to trigger the transaction confirmation from the side of Google, however it seems like simply opening the Scanner might help as it will likely try to request a status update from Google. Shortly after, Agents have reported that they have received the usual subscription receipt in their email account, and the Scanner updated right after.This does not

Agents around the world have reported that about an hour ago the Operation Luna 2026 as well as the Premium Moon Rabbit 2026 Campaigns disappeared from the Dispatch screen.This seems to affect all Agents and does not seem to be limited to just a certain number of players. This does not, actually, seem to affect all players, although we are not sure why some are affected and others are not. At the moment, we have not received an update from the Ingress team regarding this issue.While the Campaigns are missing, we strongly recommend to pause and wait if you are currently trying to complete the Campaign Bounties, especially if you want to complete the Daily Bounties task. We don't know if the Campaigns are still crediting your actions in the background, and it is possible that these will not be backfilled once the Campaigns return.We will keep you posted on updates!@IUENG

The Mid-Autumn Festival Event, Operation Luna, has started and it brought some interesting new sights on the Ingress Scanner!🍂 Leaves have started falling in the Scanner! Enable Seasonal Effects in the settings to see them!🙋Hank Johnson or Debra Bogdanovich will alert the Agent's about the newly started Campaign, suggesting to visit the Dispatch screen. Niantic announced all details on the event for September, Operation Luna, celebrating the Mid-Autumn Festival!The event will run from September 1st @ 1800 UTC to September 30th @ 1800 UTC.During this event, the Ingress Scanner will feature the following temporary changes:🔸 Portal Key drop guaranteed upon hacking if the Key is not already owned (does not apply to Drone Hacks) 🔸 Peace Beacon and a newly added Toast Beacon Kinetic Capsule program distance will be set/reduced to 1km if you start the program within the Event windowAdditionally, four Campaigns will be available for all Agents, each themed around Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations.Operation Luna 2026 - Free Starts September 1st 8 Assignments, 3 bounties per Assignment (must complete all 3/3 to advance).
