Update: (click to open quote and view text in full) .I know it's been nothing but either radio silence or occasional quick trad sketches openings (for groceries, vet appointments with 2 of my pets that had issues this summer, bills, etc), I've been postponing writing this because it's just..nothing. There is nothing to be updated. And it sucks when you have nothing to show for after a couple of months, you just want to show things done, so it really does pain me to post this.I wrote an update on my trello that further explains what's been going on this summer, but TLDR: The pressure and anxiety are exhausting me before I even start to draw, from the stress of having it be perfect, no flaws, no mistakes, no anatomy flaws. I am taking twice if not three times longer to sketch something that once took me 20 minutes. I am resolving this issue little by little, with therapy, advice from

🐈⬛ July overview & feels: Is it just me or did July go by SO fast? I fell back a bit these last 2 months, I'm not sure if the hot weather, executive dysfunction or what that has made me feel SO overwhelmed, but I am working my way out of this slump little by little 🐈⬛ Recently I have switched schedules to mirror Tox's work and while I was really productive at night a few years ago, I much prefer waking up in the morning, not at 3-4pm (maybe that's what's been making me so....blergh?)I just know that the constant pressure for perfection in every step of the way of my work has just been debilitating. Sketches take triple the amount of time to complete and it's triggering in a way lmao. Something something imposter syndrome?
