📢 Starting 23 September 2026, it’ll be an offence to engage in disruptive or nuisance behaviour on buses and bus interchanges.As announced at COS 2025, we hope that the new regulations can make journeys more pleasant for all!The following behaviours that cause nuisance or annoyance to others will be enforced against: 🦶 Placing your feet or footwear on any part of the bus other than the floor of the bus 🔊 Playing audio at loud volumes ⚠️ Causing obstruction or danger to others 🍟 Eating or drinking onboard buses 🗑️ LitteringNon-compliant commuters may receive an administrative Notification of Offence (NOO) from public transport staff, which can lead to a fine of up to $5,000 following LTA’s investigation.Together, let’s be more considerate and play our part in keeping journeys enjoyable for everyone! 🙏 🫶Commuters with physical or medical conditions will be assessed with

📆From 15 Sep 2026, we will introduce a new lodgement service for overnight parking of heavy vehicles 🚛This provides businesses more parking options, in addition to what is allowed under the Vehicle Parking Certificate (VPC) scheme today.⚠️Take note: ✔️ You can only make a lodgement within private and non-residential premises. ✔️ You must submit the lodgement via LTA's OneMotoring website. ✔️ You must submit proof of parking consent from the premises ownerEach lodgement is valid for up to two years at no fee and successful lodgement will be deemed as meeting overnight parking requirements under the VPC scheme for transactions such as new vehicle registration, transfer of ownership, and road tax renewals.🚨Owners who opt for the lodgement service will be responsible to ensure that their heavy vehicles comply with parking rules and do not cause public disamenities or pose safety

#PSA From 3 Sep 2026, the Heavy Vehicles Zero Emission Scheme (HVZES) incentive quantum for lighter zero-tailpipe emission heavy vehicles will be reduced from $40,000 to $15,000. 📉There will be no change to the incentive for zero-tailpipe emission heavy vehicles with Maximum Laden Weight (MLW) of >7,000kg as the cost differential with their internal combustion engine (ICE) equivalents remains significant.Zero-tailpipe emission heavy vehicles registered using COEs obtained before the first Sep 2026 bidding exercise will continue to receive the $40,000 incentive regardless of their MLW.

#PSA #BPLRT will be closed on 20 and 27 September 2026 for final phase of renewal works.The full-day closures will facilitate engineering works and reduce the need for additional service adjustments, as we complete the final stage of the BPLRT renewal programme.These will be the last planned service closures before the BPLRT renewal programme is completed by end-2026, which will deliver a more reliable BPLRT system for commuters.Affected commuters can take regular bus services (922, 972 & 976) or Shuttle Bus B (every 5-10 minutes) to travel.Regular LRT fares apply.🙏 Thank you for your patience and understanding as we enter the final stretch of the BPLRT renewal works!

We’ve just awarded a contract to enhance the road network around Dawson estate in Queenstown.The works will improve accessibility and connectivity in the area, while providing better cycling connections to the surrounding park connectors. Key improvements include:• A new road extension of Kay Siang Road between Dawson Road and Queensway• Widening of Kay Siang Road (between Tanglin Road and Dawson Road) and Tanglin Road (between Margaret Drive and Kay Siang Road) from dual 1-lane to dual 2-lane• New cycling paths along Kay Siang Road to connect to the Alexandra Canal and surrounding park connectors🏗️Works are expected to start progressively from the late 2026 and to be completed by 2030.Stay tuned for more updates as we build a more connected and accessible Dawson! 🚧🚲
