The Ruling on Shaving the BeardAnswered by our Shaykh, the ʿAllāmah, the Sincere Advisor, Abū ʿAbdir-Raḥmān Yaḥyā bin ʿAlī al-Ḥajūrī—may Allāh preserve him.Question:Is the one who shaves his beard a fāsiq, and what is the intent of fusūq?Answer:Yes, the one who shaves his beard is a fāsiq due to this action of his, and fisq is disobedience.
