This tragic loss came without warning, and our entire team is deeply saddened. We are providing an interim update on the security incident that occurred on December 5 and our ongoing response.We have confirmed that the sharp price drop around 8:40 PM on December 5 was driven by the large-scale sale of $PIGGY tokens that were unlawfully minted by an external attacker.We are coordinating closely with all relevant parties to keep trading controls in place, implement deposit and withdrawal restrictions as needed, and strengthen monitoring of wallets and transactions linked to the attacker. We have formally reported the incident to the National Police Agency and KISA and will visit the National Police Agency on Monday to fully support the investigation.This was a clear external attack and is not related to any internal leak or misconduct by the Piggycell team.
