AltStore's two most annoying install errors have a surprisingly simple fix."The Provided anisette data is invalid." "Invalid anisette data. Apple may have quietly changed free sideloading.The SideStore team says the "0xe8008024" error appears to be caused by Apple soft banning some free Developer Teams through its PPQ verification service.What they found:• Free Developer Teams affected. • New certificates still generate. • New profiles still generate. • PPQ rejects them instantly. • Seen as far back as iOS 15.8.3. • AltStore appears affected too. • Burner accounts still work for now.At this point, it looks like your safest options are either a burner Apple ID or a paid signing account.I've been using a FlareStore certificate since March, and it's still working for me.Video and link in the thread below.

AltStore just hit a major problem.Right now, some users can't install AltStore Classic or sideload apps because Apple ID authentication is failing in AltServer.The AltStore and SideStore teams are already working together on a fix.For now:• Don't keep retrying endlessly. • Wait for an official update. • Existing installs should generally keep working unless you need to reinstall or sideload.If your AltServer suddenly stopped signing apps today, this is probably why.I'll post an update as soon as a fix lands.
