After sending a gift to one of the major gift marketplaces — Portals, MRKT, Getgems, or Tonnel — Telegram began sending a warning from its Telegram-verified system account. The message lists the official accounts of the marketplace — the app, support, and the marketplace's gift storage account to which the gift was just sent — and reminds users that any other account claiming to be from the marketplace is fraudulent, and that no one will ever ask for passwords or login codes.
The list is unique for each marketplace: for Tonnel, for example, it lists the app bot, support, and the gift storage @giftrelayer. The support accounts for all four marketplaces are Telegram-verified.
