There is no official count of Telegram mini apps, and third-party catalogs vary tenfold and update at different frequencies: for one, the latest entry was published today; another has been showing a placeholder page since summer. Below is what each catalog contains as of November 1, 2026, how many entries it has, and how to tell if it's active.
Does Telegram Itself Have a Catalog?
Yes, but without a count. On July 31, 2024, Telegram launched the Mini App Store — an "Apps" tab in global search. A bot is listed there if its main mini app is enabled and it accepts Stars. The client receives the selection by calling bots.getPopularAppBots — paginated, without a total count. Telegram does not have a public web catalog or an open API with a list.
In the same announcement, Telegram stated the scale: mini apps are used by over 500 million people monthly.
How Many Entries Are in Each Catalog?
The numbers are from the catalogs' own pages, their sitemaps, and open APIs; verified on November 1, 2026.
| catalog | platform | entries | app details shown | last activity |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Gram News, @catalogue_app | mini app in Telegram and website | 4,284 mini apps, 215,700 bots, 2.18 million channels | monthly users, subscribers, category, screenshots, ranking position | numbers recalculated November 1 |
| FindMini | mini app and website | "over 10,700" in website description; 1,369 app pages in sitemap | monthly users, change over 1, 7, and 30 days, categories | last channel post — October 2 |
| TON App | website with Telegram login | 1,507 apps in sitemap (1,812 entries including channels, chats, and NFTs) | votes, reviews, editor's choice, screenshots | new entry — November 1; last channel post — April 23 |
| tApps Center | bot @tapps | 29 links on "Something new is coming" placeholder page | name and description line | full catalog in web archive — until June 6; last channel post — June 22 |
| topapps.tg | website | top 100 by monthly users; 390,523 bots in API | monthly users, niche, star rating | entry updated October 31 |
| Botostore | website | 131.1 thousand bots on homepage | — | website opens |
| StoreBot | bot and website | no count | bot ratings | website footer — © 2020 |
Two caveats to the table. For FindMini, the number in the website description and the number of pages in its sitemap differ by eight times; the sitemap may not include all entries. For topapps.tg, the open API returns 390,523 bots, while the service's own help states "20,500+".
In-Telegram Catalog Without Website Redirect
The Gram News catalog opens directly within Telegram via the bot @catalogue_app, as a mini app. It has three sections:
- mini apps — 4,284 active in 28 categories; 3,019 have known monthly user counts, 2,109 have saved screenshots;
- bots — 215,700, each with monthly user count and ranking position; sortable by size and filterable by range;
- channels — 2.18 million, with subscriber counts.
Numbers are updated daily, not just when an entry is added. On the night of November 1, figures for 1,349,445 channels and bots were re-obtained: subscribers for channels with at least 100 subscribers, and monthly users for bots.
The search function looks across apps, channels, chats, and emoji and sticker packs simultaneously. The bot list also includes bots from other catalogs — @tapps, @findminiappbot, @storebot: their monthly user count is visible, just like any other bot. @tapps had 52,073 as of November 1.
How to Tell if a Catalog Is Active
Three indicators are visible without access to external statistics:
- Date of the last entry or post. TON App had a new entry on November 1, but its channel has been silent since April 23. The tApps Center channel, with 3.59 million subscribers, has been silent since June 22, and the catalog itself shows a placeholder page.
- Does the stated number match the list? A number in a website description is meaningless; a sitemap is a list of addresses that the site itself provides to search engines.
- Are the numbers for entries updated? A monthly user count recorded when an app was added, six months later, speaks of the past. A sign of freshness is a date next to the number itself or a daily graph.
A check of links in a sample of ten entries from FindMini and TON App showed that all t.me names are occupied by bots; whether these bots respond is not visible from such a check.
How a Catalog Differs from Channel Analytics
TGStat and Telemetr track channels — subscribers, views, mentions — but do not catalog mini apps and bots. GitHub lists like awesome-telegram-mini-apps collect developer tools, not user applications; another such list has not been updated since December 2024.
