The collection of +888 numbers, which Telegram now calls collectible numbers, is valued at approximately 354 million TON, or about $460 million, as of October 23, 2026. No NFT collection launched since August 2022, according to CoinGecko and NFT Price Floor rankings, is worth even a tenth of this amount. Of all the collections tracked by these rankings, only CryptoPunks from 2017 are valued higher.
How Much the Collection Is Worth
The measurement was taken on October 23, 2026, between 19:42 and 19:48 UTC.
- Supply. The collection contains 136,566 numbers: this is the number of NFTs listed under the contract on the TON network, and the same number of items appear in the full list on the numbers page. As of September 14, 31 numbers were held at a zero address, meaning they were burned; thus, 136,535 are in circulation.
- Floor price. The cheapest number with a fixed price on Fragment is listed for 2,590 TON. Sales confirm this level: 40 numbers sold between October 18 and 23 had a median price of 2,680 TON, and 36 of them cost no less than 2,490 TON.
- Exchange rate. 1 TON (also known as GRAM) was worth $1.30 according to CoinGecko and Kraken.
2,590 TON × 136,535 numbers = 353.6 million TON, which at an exchange rate of $1.30 is $459.7 million. If the floor price is based on weekly sales rather than current listings, the valuation ranges from $442 million to $476 million.

The gap between the first and second rows is more than 12 times. For comparison with collections older than August 2022: CryptoPunks are worth about $742 million according to CoinGecko and $744 million according to NFT Price Floor, while Bored Ape Yacht Club is around $135 million on both rankings.
For CryptoPunks and BAYC, the figures from the two rankings almost match. For Tomorrowland, they differ by 12%, and for Mad Lads, by almost one and a half times. Each ranking takes its floor price from different platforms and at different times.
How NFT Collection Market Capitalization Is Calculated
A collection's market capitalization is its floor price multiplied by its supply. The floor price is the price of the cheapest item in the collection that can be bought right now; supply is the number of items that exist. This formula values the entire collection as if each unit were worth the same as the cheapest one.
This is not the sum of all sales or the total money paid by buyers. Number +888 8 888 was sold for 300,000 TON in December 2022, but it is included in the market capitalization at the floor price, like any other number. On the other hand, the floor price is sustained by a few of the cheapest listings: if many numbers are put up for sale at once, the price of the first one will drop, and with it, the entire valuation. Selling an entire collection at its floor price is not feasible, so market capitalization is a metric for comparing collections, not a buy-out price.
This explains the discrepancy: Fragment's listings and weekly sales yield a floor price ranging from 2,490 to 2,680 TON, shifting the market capitalization by tens of millions of dollars for the same collection.
Usernames and Gifts
Telegram usernames are also NFTs and were also launched after August 2022 — they have been sold on Fragment since October 2022. Cheap usernames are listed starting from 6 TON, and the collection contains about 675,000 NFTs. The market capitalization based on the floor price is less than $6 million: the most expensive usernames cost hundreds of thousands of TON, but the formula values the entire collection based on the cheapest item.
Upgraded Telegram gifts can be withdrawn to the TON network as NFTs. Two of the most valuable, using the same formula:
- Resistance Dog — the cheapest listing on Fragment is 1,500 TON, with 14,010 items in circulation, totaling about 21 million TON or $27 million.
- Plush Pepe — starting from 7,000 TON on Fragment, with 2,825 items issued, totaling about 19.8 million TON or $26 million.
Both collections are more than 16 times cheaper than the collectible numbers.
Origin of the Collection
Anonymous numbers appeared on December 6, 2022: on this day, Telegram announced SIM-card-free registration using numbers from Fragment, and the press reported on it the next day. The most prominent auctions closed on December 20, 2022. +888 8 888 sold for 300,000 TON, and +888 0000 0000 for 50,000 TON.
