For Pavel Durov's Birthday, His Telegram Wallet Received 8,013 Transfers, and Not Pixel Sent Him 4.2 Million PX

From October 9 to 14, Pavel Durov's Telegram wallet received 8,013 transfers from 3,716 addresses, totaling 3,547.9 Gram (approximately $4.9 thousand at the October 14 exchange rate). Almost all of these were sent from the Money section, which Telegram launched on October 9. Durov turned 42 on October 10. Separately, the Not Pixel team transferred 4.2 million PX (about $54 thousand) to another of his addresses. This amount is greater than all PX currently held in liquidity pools on exchanges.

Whose Address Is This?

Durov himself revealed the address UQBF…F3Kc. In the video from his post on October 10, the "Send Money to" screen opens, showing the recipient as "Pavel Durov @monk," and the address below the username matches this one character for character. In the same video, someone sends him 42 Gram with the comment "Happy Birthday!".

The contract at this address is a built-in Telegram wallet. Its code is stored in the network configuration, and the address itself belongs to a Telegram account. Therefore, "sending to Durov" in the Money section is a transfer by username, without copying the address. Of the 3,716 senders, 3,655 transferred from similar Telegram wallets. These accounted for 7,820 transfers and 3,516 Gram of the total amount.

Not Pixel sent PX to a different address—Durov's old wallet UQDY…nf4K (v4r2 contract). On tonapi, it is labeled as "Pavel Durov".

How Much and When

Before October 9, the address was almost empty: nine transfers arrived on October 7 and 8. The first transfer of the new wave arrived on October 9 at 14:07 MSK, and by the evening of the same day, more than two thousand transfers had arrived. The peak occurred between 20:00–21:00 MSK, with 907 transfers in one hour.

The median transfer was 0.1 Gram, which was also the most frequent amount: exactly 0.1 Gram was sent 6,081 times, or in three out of four cases. Exactly 1 Gram was sent 318 times. Transfers corresponding to his age: 0.42 Gram was sent 129 times, and 42 Gram was sent 32 times. Transfers of 42 Gram accounted for more than a third of the total amount—1,344 Gram. The largest single transfer was 100 Gram. Amounts greater than 42 Gram were sent three times.

What the Comments Say

A comment can be attached to a transfer in the Money section. By default, it is encrypted with the recipient's key, and only the presence of text is visible on the blockchain. The comment becomes public if the sender enables the "Make comment public" toggle, which is shown in Durov's video. Of the 8,013 transfers, 2,196 contained encrypted text, 2,114 had public comments, and 3,703 were sent without a comment.

Most public comments were congratulations in Russian and English, ranging from "Happy birthday" to "Happy birthday to our beloved creator of the best messenger❤️". Other comments included product requests and wishes:

• "You moved the 'Search🔎' button to the [Settings] section at the top right, but it covers my gifts in the profile."
• "Add the option to not accept TON."
• "Thank you for free internet, Pasha!"

The same warning appeared twenty times in the comments: a bot with a name similar to Durov's is impersonating him and scamming people. There was also advertising: referral links to mini-apps and token names.

What Else Arrives at This Address

In addition to transfers from individuals, service payouts have been arriving at the address since October 10. One address sent 427 transfers totaling 2,910.4 Gram, each with a comment like "TeleMoney creator fees · $DUROV". These are creator fees for tokens launched on a launchpad with Durov's address as the recipient. Most came from $UTYA (1,242.9 Gram) and $DUROV (1,073.2 Gram), with the rest from $REDO, $GCAT, $DOGS, $GRAM, and others. These payouts are not included in the transfer count above. Including them, the address received 6,458 Gram since October 9.

Conversely, 142 Gram transfers totaling 1,329 Gram left the address during the same period: 117 transfers of 10 Gram each, and 22 transfers of 5 Gram each. These were received by 128 addresses, 116 of which had previously sent transfers to this wallet themselves. Four other outgoing messages were NFT transfers.

Not Pixel's Transfer

Not Pixel is a Telegram game with the PX token. On October 9, the "PD" skin presale was held in Pixel World, a mini-app by the same team, and according to the team, it generated about 994,000 PX. Typically, PX revenue is burned, but this time they decided to send it to Durov for his birthday and add more on top.

On the blockchain, everything went through the address pxburn.ton, from which PX is usually burned. On October 10, all times UTC:

• At 10:50, two amounts arrived at this address: 3,210,000 PX and 994,950 PX — the second matches the revenue from the skin.
• At 10:59, a test transfer of 42 PX was sent to Durov.
• At 11:00, the main transfer of 4,200,000 PX occurred.

It turns out that the skin revenue was less than a quarter of the gift; the team added the remaining 3.21 million PX from their own address. As of October 14, Durov's address holds 4,200,273 PX, meaning not a single PX from the gift has been sold or transferred.

On October 11 at 14:33 UTC, 2,400,000 PX were burned from pxburn.ton—this was reported the day after the gift. Based on the address balance, the burned PX are not related to the skin sale: they had been there since September, arriving in two amounts—1,855,965 PX on September 15 and 551,672 PX on September 21. Prior to this, 5 million PX were burned from the same address in December 2025, 3.7 million in April, and 2.3 million in July 2026.

How This Compares to the PX Market

According to DexScreener data on October 14, PX is traded in four liquidity pools. The total liquidity in them is approximately $87.9 thousand:

The price of PX is $0.01297. At this price, the gift is worth about $54.5 thousand, and the skin revenue is about $12.9 thousand. All four pools combined hold 3.41 million PX, while Durov holds 4.2 million, which is 23% more.

The "price-based" valuation here is conditional. A pool exchanges tokens using the constant product formula: the more PX sold into it, the worse the price for each subsequent token. Regardless of how much PX is sold, only what is on the other side of the pools can be obtained—approximately 29.5 thousand Gram and 3.3 thousand USD₮, totaling about $43.7 thousand. This is less than the nominal $54.5 thousand value of the gift.

PX has 1,168,636 holders, with a total supply of 211.6 million tokens. The gift represents 2% of the total supply.
