On October 15, Keeper wallet, formerly Tonkeeper, introduced four new networks: Solana, Polygon, Avalanche, and Robinhood Chain. The wallet now supports a total of eleven networks, allowing users to exchange tokens between any of them directly within the app. The update has already been released for iOS and Android.

Networks Available in Keeper

The list of networks is evident not only from the announcement but also from the code itself. Keeper's multi-network functionality is compiled into a separate library called ChainKit, which the team publishes on GitHub as a ready-to-use build for iOS. Build 26.10.8, released on October 16, declares exactly eleven main networks:

NetworkIn Keeper
TONfrom the very beginning
Bitcoin, Ethereum, Tron, BNB Smart Chain, Base, Arbitrumadded from August to October
Solana, Polygon, Avalanche, Robinhood ChainOctober 15

Keeper's announcement states it this way: in August, the wallet supported one network; in October, it supports eleven.

How It Works

Keeper does not write keys and signatures for external networks from scratch. The ChainKit build description indicates that the library is built with Kotlin and integrates wallet-core 4.8.3 — an open-source Trust Wallet library that generates addresses and signs transactions for dozens of blockchains. For Keeper, adding a new network primarily means adding a new entry in ChainKit on top of the existing wallet-core cryptography, which is why four networks were released simultaneously.

A detail from the code: the TON coin type in ChainKit is named Gram.

ChainKit builds are released almost daily: there were six builds between October 12 and 16.

What You Can Do in the New Networks

According to Keeper's announcement, there are three main functionalities:

  • store and send assets within each of the four networks;
  • exchange tokens between any of the eleven networks without needing cross-chain bridges or a second wallet;
  • open dApps from these networks in the in-app browser.

To celebrate the launch, Keeper is doubling tickets in its prize draw: for every $100 exchanged between networks involving Solana, Avalanche, Polygon, or Robinhood Chain, you will receive two tickets instead of one.
