What's inside

  • Sticker packs and emoji packs — any Telegram pack, not only your own.
  • Three ways to ask — a sticker, a premium emoji from the pack, or a t.me/addstickers/… or t.me/addemoji/… link.
  • The answer — the creator's id and two profile buttons, for iPhone and for Android.
  • Every pack page on gramnews.org has a “Who made this pack?” button.
  • Free, no sign-up.

Can you find out who made a sticker pack

Yes. Telegram itself doesn't show a set's author: the pack window shows the title and the items, and @Stickers' /packstats only gives stats for your own packs. But every set has a numeric id with the creator built into it — that is how @catalogue_app finds the author.

The upper half of a set's 64-bit id is the id of the account that created it. Newer accounts have ids above 4,294,967,296; their sets mark the top byte of the lower half, and 2³² is added to the upper half. The bot reads the set id from Telegram and does this for you.

How to ask the bot

Open @catalogue_app with the link on this page and send one of three things: any sticker from the pack, a premium emoji from an emoji pack, or a pack link like t.me/addstickers/… or t.me/addemoji/…. A link works even without a command — the bot recognises it.

The answer gives the pack title, how many items it has, the creator's id and two profile buttons. The “iPhone” button opens tg://user?id=…, the “Android” button opens tg://openmessage?user_id=…: Telegram understands different addresses on different systems.

Emoji packs too

Premium emoji work the same way as stickers: they are sets with their own id and creator. Send the bot one emoji from the pack in a normal message — the bot finds its pack and shows the creator.

When the profile doesn't open

An id link only opens a profile if Telegram is willing to show it to you: the person hasn't hidden their account in privacy settings and you've crossed paths — a shared chat or a conversation. If the profile doesn't open, the creator id is still correct: you can find the author in shared chats or match it with ids from other sources.

Packs made with builder bots like @fStikBot or @TgEmodziBot belong to the person who assembled them, not to the bot: the bot only helps create the set. So the creator in the answer is that person.

How to launch

  1. Tap “Open” — @catalogue_app opens.
  2. Send a sticker, a premium emoji or a pack link.
  3. See the creator's id and tap the profile button for your system.

FAQ

Is it free

Yes, the check is free and needs no sign-up.

Does it work for emoji packs

Yes: send an emoji from the pack or a t.me/addemoji/… link — the answer is the same as for stickers.

Why isn't the creator @fStikBot if the pack was made with it

A builder bot creates the set on behalf of the person assembling it, so the set's owner is that person.

Does the author see that I checked their pack

No, the bot only reads the set's data and writes nothing to the author.

Why doesn't the profile open

Telegram opens a profile by id only if the person hasn't hidden it and you've crossed paths. The id itself is still correct.
