Telegram support bot for your website — free
A bot link instead of a contact form — visitors write in Telegram, you or your team get a ticket and answer by reply.

When someone needs a Telegram website support, give them this link. It opens Telegram's bot creation window right away; the bot is created on their account for free, no BotFather or code, and runs this template. They can customise it later in the free node editor.

Hello! This is website support. Write your question — we answer right here.
Website chat in Telegram through a bot
The «Website support» template replaces a contact form with a link to a bot. A visitor taps a button or a link on your site, lands in Telegram and writes a question to the bot. You get a numbered ticket, answer by reply, and the answer shows up for the visitor in the same chat.
This is not an embedded widget that pops up over the page: the conversation happens in Telegram itself. In return it doesn't vanish when the tab is closed. The visitor sees the answer in the messenger even after leaving the site and can come back to the conversation at any time.
The template fits an online store, a landing page, a web service, a school or a freelancer's site: anywhere a visitor needs to ask a real person a question.
Why a bot instead of a contact form
A form collects an email address, and email replies often land in spam or arrive after the question no longer matters. In Telegram the visitor gets a notification the moment you answer, and you see the question where you already read your messages, with no separate dashboard.
The conversation stays with the visitor, so follow-ups and attachments live in one chat. Photos, screenshots, voice messages and files go both ways: a visitor can send a screenshot of an error, and you can send back instructions or a document.
Visitors don't have to leave an email address or a phone number, because Telegram already knows where to deliver the answer. For the site owner that means fewer form fields and fewer lost requests with a typo in the address.
How to create a support bot for a website
The bot is created for free from this page. The button opens Telegram's own «Create bot» window, you confirm a name and a username, and the bot appears on your account. No BotFather, no token, no code and no sign-up on a website; gramnews hosts the bot.
Many website-to-Telegram chat services ask you to get a token from BotFather first and paste it into their system. Here the bot is yours and working from the start, and all that's left is to put the link on the site.
The bot is tied to your Telegram account. The template sets a greeting and a reply after a message, and both are worth rewriting for your site right away: name the company and state the hours when support answers.
How to add the bot link to your site
The bot's address looks like t.me/your_bot. It goes on a «Message us on Telegram» button in the header or footer, on the contacts page, on a product page or in an order confirmation email. The site builder doesn't matter: any plain link or button with a link works.
On a phone the link opens the Telegram app right away; on a computer it opens Telegram Desktop or the web version. The visitor sees a greeting like «This is website support. Write your question» and can start typing, and the greeting text can be changed in the admin.
The link works best where questions tend to come up: next to a price, at checkout, on the delivery page. The same link can sit in several places on the site, and every ticket ends up in the one bot.
How your team answers visitors
Tickets come to your DMs by default. Teammates become operators through an invite link from the admin: they get tickets in their own DMs and answer by reply. Another option is a team group: with Topics (forum) turned on, every visitor gets their own topic and the team answers by simply writing there. /close closes the topic, /ban blocks the person, /unban lifts the block.
In every case the visitor talks to one bot and doesn't see the staff's personal accounts. The reply after their first message, «Thanks. We'll answer here during working hours» in the template, sets expectations and can be edited by hand too.
Ticket numbers keep conversations apart when there are many visitors: they show who wrote and what has already been answered. When a visitor comes back later, the new message arrives the same way as the first, and in a group with topics it lands in their existing topic.
Admin panel, broadcasts and screen editing
The bot's first message to its owner is the admin panel; /admin opens it later. There you edit texts, switch the bot's language between Russian and English, choose where tickets go and see stats: people in total, active in seven days, banned, and tickets this month. A broadcast sends a text, photo or video to everyone who started the bot, after a preview and a confirmation.
To add screens with buttons such as «Delivery» or «Returns», use «Edit with AI»: describe the bot in words and AI rebuilds the screens without touching the settings. For precise changes the site has a visual node editor. Free bots carry a «Made with @catalogue_app» line under their messages.
A broadcast is handy for telling visitors who have already contacted support about changes on the site, new opening hours or a new service. Stats show how many people have started the bot and how many tickets came in this month, which hints at whether visitors use the button on the page.
How to launch
- Tap «Create bot» on this page to open Telegram's bot creation window.
- Confirm the name and username; the bot appears on your account and sends its admin panel.
- Adjust the greeting and the reply after a message to fit your site.
- Choose where tickets go: your DMs, operators, or a team group.
- Put the t.me/your_bot link on a button or the contacts page of your site.
FAQ
Is this a widget embedded on the site?
No. The site gets a link or a button that opens the bot in Telegram. The conversation happens in the messenger, not in a window on the page.
Do I need to change code on my site?
No. A plain t.me/your_bot link is enough, and any site builder or CMS can hold one.
Is the bot free?
Yes. Creating and running it is free, and gramnews hosts it. Free bots carry a «Made with @catalogue_app» line under their messages.
Do I need BotFather and a token?
No. The bot is created through Telegram's own «Create bot» window from the link on this page and appears on your account right away.
What if the visitor leaves the site before I answer?
The answer still reaches them: it arrives in their Telegram chat with the bot, with a notification.
Can several staff members answer?
Yes. Operators join through an invite link from the admin, or tickets go to a team group where, with Topics on, each visitor gets their own thread.
