On September 27, a key wallet_available with the value false was added to the configuration of Telegram's test servers. This configuration is received by the client from the server upon launch, and a key of this type acts as a switch: the built-in wallet's code can arrive in the application with an update, but be activated later — possibly not for everyone simultaneously.
Other wallet settings are located alongside it in the same configuration. The minimum transfer wallet_transfer_min_nanos is 100,000,000 nanotons, which is 0.1 Gram — precisely the minimum found in the macOS beta. The same threshold applies to transfers without gas fees, and there are five such transfers per day.
Currently, there are no wallet keys in the production configuration. The switch on the test servers was first noticed in a datamining channel.
